Introducing the P4P Team: Meet Ziev!

Introducing Ziev Basson, a cyclist on this summer’s Pedal for Purpose trip. Ziev has been training hard to prepare for the challenging rides ahead, but he knows the beautiful landscapes will make it all worth it.

Here’s what he had to say about the upcoming trip:

What is your favorite thing about your hometown?

I love the parks and distance to the Hudson river, making for great relaxation and hiking. The youth in the town are very opinionated and diverse.

Where is the farthest you’ve traveled from home?

I went to Kiev, Ukraine last year to see the 2012 Euro Cup which was an amazing experience!

Why are you coming on this summer trip?

To challenge myself physically for a very noble cause. The traveling and the people I will meet are definitely bonuses.

What nonessential object will you absolutely bring with you on the road?

I recently bought a camera and look forward to using it… a lot.

What will you miss most on the trip?
My brothers, parents, and friends from home.
Besides BAP events, what are you most looking forward to in each new place?
Trying something exciting at each local destination! With places like the Grand Canyon and the Rockies, there will be amazing hiking to be done.
